Ardova Handball Premier League 2023 Day 7: Niger United leapfrogs Tojemarine Academy

Tojemarine Academy faltered on Monday in their attempt to leapfrog Niger United, losing to a well-prepared Rima Strikers on Day 7 of the Ardova Handball Premier League 2023 Phase 2 in Lagos.
Committing several turnovers, Tojemarine Academy couldn't pull the chestnut out of the fire as they lost to a more determined Rima Strikers, 24-23, while Confluence Stars did their business well, earning a 28-23 victory over Correction Boys.
Kano Pillars defeated Bendel Dynamos 37-30.
In the women's category, former champions Plateau Peacocks defeated Rima Queens 20-14, while Seasider Babes returned to winning ways, securing a 35-30 victory over Bayelsa Queens.
Safety Babes continue to lead the league, defeating Imo Grasshoppers 31-24, while Defender Babes comfortably defeated Benue Queens 34-19.
The last match saw Delta Queens win the Bendel Derby as they defeated rival Bendel Dynamos 30-28.
