The Omoluabi Volleyball Team of Osun State showcased their excellence by winning the 4th Edition of the Osun State Volleyball Association Championship.
The final match, held at the Osogbo Township Stadium Volleyball Court, witnessed the Omoluabi Volleyball team defeating the OAU Predators Volleyball Team of Ile Ife with a resounding 2-0 scoreline.
The journey to this triumph included the Osun-based team's noteworthy victories over the SMS Volleyball Team of Iree (2-0) and the Ogbomosho Warriors Volleyball Team (2-1) in the earlier stages of the championship.
The championship, organized by Chief Coach Lekan Adeniran, aimed to prepare the Osun State Volleyball Team for the National League next year.
The competition attracted key figures such as Mr. Rotimi Dumoye (General Manager of the Osun State Sports Council), Mr. Ademola Daini (Director of Sports - Coaching and Training), Mrs. Ronke Ogunbanwo (Deputy Director, Osun State Sports Council, and ex-international Volleyball player), Chief Coach Kehinde Johnson, Mr. Abioye Adesina Abadan (ex-international Volleyball player and member of the Osun State Volleyball Association), and Mrs. Moradeyo (PRO, Osun State Sports Council).
Others present included Volleyball fans, supporters of the competing teams, and some members of the Osun State Volleyball Association.
The Omoluabi emerged victorious with a stellar performance, marking a memorable achievement in the championship.
