23rd African Men's Handball Cup of Nations: Nigeria in Group D, set to clash with Tunisia

The Nigeria Men's Senior Handball team has been drawn into Group D for the 23rd African Men's Handball Cup of Nations, scheduled to take place in Egypt from January 19th to 29th, 2024.
The Golden Arrows are grouped alongside 10-time champion Tunisia, Angola, and Kenya. They will play in Group D with the hope of qualifying for the World Handball Championship in 2025, which will be held in Croatia, Denmark, and Norway, as well as for the 2024 Olympics in Paris.
Nigeria will make its 15th appearance at the Nations Cup, with their best tournament performance in South Africa in 1998, where they finished fourth.
Meanwhile, Samuel Ocheho, the President of the Handball Federation of Nigeria (HFN), stated that the federation will do everything possible to ensure that the Golden Arrows of Nigeria have the best preparation for the Africa Handball Cup of Nations in Egypt.
