2025 IHF: Handball Federation of Nigeria invites six Ekiti players to camp

The Handball Federation of Nigeria (HFN) has invited six players from Ekiti to camp ahead of the International Handball Federation (IHF) Trophy Youth Tournament.


The tournament is scheduled to take place from April 20 to 26 in Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire.


The State Head Coach, Kayode Ayo-Idowu, disclosed this while addressing newsmen on Thursday in Ado-Ekiti.


Ayo-Idowu said the federation invited five players to join their counterparts in camp in preparation for the U-18 tournament.


According to him, the five players are Oluwalade Abiola, Folorunso Omowumi, Ayogu Chidera, Adegbite Christiana, and Toyin Ogunsakin.


The coach also said the federation invited Temilade Eniola, of the U-20 category, to camp ahead of the IHF Trophy Youth Tournament.


The players are to report to camp at the Lagos Sports Commission, Rowe Park, Yaba, Lagos, on April 6.
