2024 NYG: Ekiti Volleyball team, Spikers, remains unbeaten in four matches

The Spikers of Ekiti State have qualified for the final of the 8th National Youth Games, Asaba 2024.


The volleyball team defeated their Bayelsa counterparts 2-0 on Sunday and won a very tight encounter against Adamawa 1-0 yesterday.

 


Expressing his gratitude, the head coach of the team, Olusoji Farotimi, said it was a dream come true.


He praised the resilience of the players and said he is extremely proud of them for their dedication and effort in reaching this stage of the competition.


He also commended his assistant coach, Adeoye Adebowale, and the entire crew for their commitment and promised that everything will be done to ensure that the team emerges as the winner of the competition.


The Great Spikers will be playing their final match against their Oyo counterparts.
