2024 Nigeria Rugby League, Southwest Zone: Nigeria Police, Cowrie RFC, Headline winning teams

Nigeria Police Rugby Football Club aims to maintain its momentum in Matchday Two of the Nigeria Rugby League, Southwest Zone, taking place in Lagos.


The Police kicked off their campaign with an impressive 44-21 win over Ogun State Kings.


However, in Week 2, they face a tough challenge as they tackle ECO 11 RFC, who are eager to rebound after their opening day 29-5 loss to Cowrie RFC.


Meanwhile, Gosar RFC hopes to restore some pride after suffering a humiliating 54-0 defeat at the hands of Racing RFC.


They will take on Cowrie RFC, who were in outstanding form during their 29-5 victory against ECO 11 RFC.


Racing RFC aims to continue their dominance with another emphatic display against Ogun State Kings in Matchday Two, as the league’s intensity increases.


In the women’s category, Nigeria Police will strive to defeat Gosar RFC, who recorded a 10-0 win against ECO 11 RFC on the opening day.


The clubs are battling for the sole ticket to advance from the region, adding to the competitive spirit of the week’s matches.
