2024 National Division 1 Volleyball League: Life camp beat Oluyole VC 3-0 to record sixth win

The match took place at the Package B indoor sports hall of the Moshood Abiola National Stadium in Abuja, where Life Camp secured victory by winning all three sets. They dominated the first set with a score of 25-19, followed by a convincing 25-17 win in both the second and third sets, resulting in an overall scoreline of 3-0.


Coach Hatem Amro expressed satisfaction with his team's performance and highlighted their objective of securing promotion to the premier league. He emphasized the importance of teamwork and unity, noting how the players supported each other throughout the match, which contributed to their success.


Having won five out of six games played so far, with this being their seventh, Coach Amro encouraged his players to maintain their fighting spirit and adhere to tactical instructions in every game. Consistency and determination were underscored as key elements for achieving their promotion goal.


In another match, Sword VC emerged victorious over G-Ranks with a 3-0 win, displaying their prowess on the court with set scores of 26-24, 26-24, and 25-19. This victory showcased the competitiveness of the league and the quality of volleyball talent present among the participating teams.


A total of nine male teams are competing in the league, including notable clubs such as Oluyole Spikers of Ibadan, Kwara United VC, and NAF Rockets. The diverse representation adds excitement and intensity to the competition as teams vie for dominance and recognition in the volleyball community.


The ongoing league, which commenced on May 23, is scheduled to conclude on June 2 at the Moshood Abiola National Stadium in Abuja. As the tournament progresses, anticipation builds among players, coaches, and fans alike, eager to witness thrilling matches and remarkable displays of athleticism.
