Adewumi Agboola, the coach of Tojemarine Academy, expressed his goal of finishing at the top of the 2024 Ardova Handball Premier League.
Agboola, speaking from Abuja, asserted that the team is fully prepared for the first phase of this year's league.
He mentioned that the players are determined to do whatever it takes to clinch the trophy at the end of the league.
"The boys fought hard in their final match in the last edition, but in this league, we will ensure they put even more effort into their games.
"I will advise them to remain focused in all their matches and to demonstrate dedication, determination, and perseverance until the end of the league.
"We will maintain a winning spirit to secure victories in all our matches and ensure that we reach the final and emerge victorious," he stated.
Agboola emphasized that all departments of the team have been strengthened to kick off the league in Benin City.
"My players are prepared for the challenge; each of them is up to the task for this year's league.
"They underwent rigorous training with seriousness and dedication; they will come out victorious," he affirmed.
Tojemarine Academy lost their final match of the 2023 league to Niger United 26-31, finishing second on the table.
The first phase of the 2024 Ardova Handball Premier League will commence from May 12 to 24 at the Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium in Benin City, Edo.
