Tojemarine Handball Club experienced their first defeat of the season against Safety Shooters on Day 7 of the Ardova Handball Premier League 2024, Phase 2, in Lagos.
Tojemarine were second best to Safety Shooters, who, having identified a tactical loophole from their opponent’s fortunate victory against Kano Pillars the previous day, capitalized on it to earn a hard-fought 27-24 victory against the league leaders from Lagos.

Rima Strikers, now just two points behind Tojemarine, defeated Adamawa Warriors 37-31, while defending champions Niger United made up for their loss the previous day by defeating Seasider Boys of Lagos 24-20.
