Starting from 2025, Enea Bastianini and Maverick Vinales are set to join the rebranded Red Bull KTM Tech3 team, according to the motorcycle manufacturer's announcement on Thursday. Bastianini, departing from Ducati, and Vinales, moving from Aprilia, will both ride factory KTM RC16s, with the team's colors reverting to orange after two years in red GasGas livery.
Tech3 team manager Nicolas Goyon expressed pride in having secured the talents of Bastianini and Vinales, highlighting their decision to ride KTM bikes as evidence of the team's competitiveness. Goyon emphasized the team's technological advancements and its ability to contend at the forefront of the championship.
Italian rider Bastianini, currently fourth in the 2024 championship standings, brings with him five MotoGP race wins, while Spanish rider Vinales boasts an impressive tally of 10 race victories. Their addition signals a significant boost for the Red Bull KTM Tech3 team as they aim to compete strongly in the upcoming seasons.
