Lewis Hamilton is set to join Ferrari next season, but rumors about an early exit from Mercedes this year were dismissed by the team. These speculations emerged following a challenging weekend in Brazil, where Hamilton finished 11th in the sprint race and 10th in the Sao Paulo Grand Prix.
After the race, Hamilton expressed his frustration over the radio, calling it "the worst the car has ever been," while acknowledging his team's efforts. He also hinted that it could be his last performance of the season, saying, "If this is the last time I get to perform, it was a shame it wasn't great, but I am grateful for you."
Despite his comments, Mercedes clarified that Hamilton would still compete in the final three races of the season, including the Las Vegas Grand Prix on November 24, followed by races in Qatar and Abu Dhabi. Currently, Hamilton is seventh in the driver standings, with two wins this season, at the British and Belgian Grands Prix.
