Leopard Racing's Jaume Masia wins Gran Premi Monster Energy de Catalunya, overtaking Rossi

In the morning session at the Gran Premi Monster Energy de Catalunya, Jaume Masia of Leopard Racing showcased his dominance by clocking a remarkable time of 1:48.300.
This impressive performance put him a significant 0.656 seconds ahead of the competition, even as he skillfully navigated through traffic and executed a last-corner overtake reminiscent of Rossi as he approached the finish line.
Deniz Öncü of Red Bull KTM Ajo secured the second position, while Matteo Bertelle from Rivacold Snipers Team had a strong showing, earning him a spot in the top three.
The Leopard Racing team had a promising start, with Tatsuki Suzuki also securing a place in the top five at P4. Colin Veijer of Liqui Moly Husqvarna Intact GP briefly led the session but ended up in fifth place.
The Dutch rookie is determined to carry his podium potential from Austria into this weekend, aiming for his first Grand Prix podium.
Riccardo Rossi of SIC58 Squadra Corse claimed the sixth position, while the current Championship leader, Daniel Holgago of Red Bull KTM Tech3, began his Catalan GP in P10, trailing one second behind the leader.
