The 2025 F1 Academy series will conclude in Las Vegas, marking a thrilling finish after races across three continents, according to an announcement on Monday. The seven-round, 14-race calendar includes three new venues: Shanghai, which will host the opening race in March, followed by Montreal's Circuit Gilles Villeneuve and the season finale in Las Vegas.
The European leg of the season will feature only one round, set at Zandvoort in the Netherlands in late August. North America will host three rounds, with races in Miami in May, Montreal in June, and Las Vegas in November. Additional rounds will be held in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, in April, and Singapore in October, all coinciding with Formula One's schedule at the same venues.
F1 Academy managing director Susie Wolff highlighted the significance of Las Vegas as the season's final race, calling it an iconic moment for the series. She attributed the addition of this event to the strong support from Formula One and Liberty Media, the series' main partners. The F1 Academy, currently in its second season, features 1.4-liter Tatuus F4 cars capable of reaching 240 km/h, with all 10 Formula One teams providing drivers and cars for the competition.
Next year, a Netflix docu-series about the F1 Academy will be released, following the success of the "Drive to Survive" series. The Las Vegas Grand Prix will also feature a Ferrari support race this year, after last year's debut down the famous Strip received some criticism for limited track action compared to other events.
