Zamfara United FC unveils Abdullahi Adamu as new Head Coach

The Zamfara United FC board on Wednesday officially unveiled the former Wikki Tourists head coach, Abdullahi Adamu, as the club's new manager for the 2024/2025 NNL season.


The appointment was formalized after the coach signed the contract at the club house in Gusau, where he was officially unveiled and presented to the media.


The young tactician is expected to bring his wealth of experience to Zamfara United, having previously worked with Katsina United, Wikki Tourists, and several other notable clubs in the country.


Speaking after his unveiling, Abdullahi Adamu expressed his gratitude to the state government and other stakeholders for finding him worthy of leading their beloved team in the upcoming football season.


"I give all the glory and adoration to Almighty Allah for this day. I must also thank the state government and the stakeholders who made this appointment possible.


"I truly appreciate this gesture and the confidence placed in me for this role.


"I will definitely do my best to prove my capabilities and achieve notable success with the team.


"Work has started, and we will leave no stone unturned in order to meet the team's goals for the season.


"Zamfara United is known as one of the traditional teams in Nigerian football, and my entire technical staff and I will do our utmost to restore the team's lost glory," Coach Abdullahi assured.


Coach Abdullahi Adamu is expected to take charge of his new role with immediate effect, as he has been introduced to the team.
