As the new season approaches, Zamfara United FC's management and technical crew are intensifying preparations for the upcoming NNL 2024/2025 season.
At the recent NNL Annual General Meeting in Bauchi State, the league's 36 teams were divided into four groups (A, B, C, and D) across the Northern and Southern Conferences. Zamfara United FC has been drawn into a highly competitive group alongside Gombe United, Wikki Tourists, Mighty Jets, and Sokoto United.
Building on last season's experience against NPFL-promoted sides Nasarawa United and El-Kanemi Warriors (2024 Federation Cup champions), Zamfara United FC is determined to excel.
Under General Manager Anas Abdullahi Gusau's leadership, one of the league's youngest managers, the team is committed to restructuring and reclaiming its former glory.
The management stated that the season's objective is to finish in the top two and qualify for the NNL Super 8 playoff.
"We invite all fans and supporters to join us on this exciting journey. Your prayers, support, and cheers will propel us to greatness!"
