Yattara urges Trabzonspor to sign Nigerian striker

Trabzonspor, former Turkish champions, have received a strong endorsement from former Guinean forward Ibrahima Yattara to pursue the signing of talented Nigerian striker Joel Ideho, who is currently a free agent after being released by Arsenal.
Ideho's impressive skills have caught Yattara's attention, and despite not receiving a professional contract from Arsenal after spending three years with the club, he has garnered recognition from Flying Eagles chief coach Ladan Bosso, who invited him to join the Nigerian U20 squad for the FIFA U20 World Cup.
However, complications in obtaining a Nigerian passport have hindered his inclusion in the final squad, as his eligibility for international competitions relies on acquiring the passport.
Yattara, who has been compared to legendary Brazilian Ronaldinho in the past, strongly believes that Trabzonspor should secure Ideho's signature before he joins another club.
Expressing his confidence in the young Nigerian attacker, Yattara highlighted Ideho's intelligence, significant potential, and described him as a very smart player.
“I know Joel. He came to Ajax infrastructure after Willem. From there he moved to Arsenal. Very smart player. Significant potential. Don’t miss it, you won’t regret it,” he said.
While at Arsenal, Ideho displayed his skills and prowess, registering eight goals and seven assists in a total of 54 matches across the club's U18 and U21 teams.
