Heartland FC Chief Coach Charles Uzor has urged the players to push things a notch higher against Bayelsa United on Sunday in their 2024/2025 Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) Match Day 8 encounter, to be played at the Samson Siasia Stadium in Yenagoa.
The five-time NPFL champions Heartland of Owerri will hope to redefine their force against another struggling side, Bayelsa United, who will be seeking a win to boost their morale in this tricky tie.
The coach of the Naze Millionaires, Uzor, praised the fighting spirit of the team, especially in the second half against Ikorodu City, and urged them to push things a notch higher against Bayelsa United.
"Our team is improving; we fought gallantly against El-Kanemi Warriors after spending three days on the road.
"We fought hard against Ikorodu City, especially in the second half, and I believe we will push harder this weekend in Yenagoa."
The Naze Millionaires are unbeaten in three games as they prepare to battle Bayelsa United.
