Women's Super League Title Race: Chelsea, Man Utd, Man City and Arsenal Aim for the Trophy
Posted : 16 April 2023
In one of the closest WSL championship battles in recent memory, Chelsea, Man City, Man Utd, and Arsenal all have a chance to win this season. There are just five (or six for some) games left.
The Women's Super League title battle, which is now the tightest and most heatedly contested, is nearing its conclusion.
Despite a wild season, Chelsea, Manchester City, Manchester United, and Arsenal still have a good chance of winning the Women's Super League championship on May 27. There are just three points separating the four clubs.
Every point, goal, and result will matter over the next seven weeks when you factor in the championship showdowns between the four teams, the influence of FA Cup and Champions League diversions, a tight race in goal-difference counts, and other factors.
The summit of the tree is occupied by Manchester United. The team led by Marc Skinner leads the league in both goals scored and goals allowed.
United are so in the most advantageous goal difference position available. It will be a challenge for their championship opponents to surpass United's enormous 37-point haul.
