Super Eagles and Nottingham Forest striker, Taiwo Michael Awoniyi, is catching the eye of West Ham United.
Awoniyi, 26, had a solid Premier League campaign with Nottingham Forest, tallying six goals and three assists in 12 starts.
However, recurring groin injuries limited his availability to just 20 games, with a total of 1,046 minutes played.
West Ham Central reports that the Hammers are seeking a striker to support Michail Antonio and bolster their attacking options.
With Antonio sidelined for a portion of the season, Jarrod Bowen and Mohammed Kudus stepped up to fill the void, combining for 36 appearances.
As Julen Lopetegui takes the helm, West Ham sees Awoniyi as a valuable addition to provide depth and clinical finishing in attack.
Previously, Awoniyi hinted at uncertainty about his future at Nottingham Forest, suggesting a potential move in the summer transfer window.
Despite his club form, Awoniyi was not selected for the upcoming FIFA World Cup qualifiers with the Super Eagles.
