West Ham 1 - 3 Manchester City: Man City stage comeback to maintain perfect Premier League start

Manchester City maintained their perfect start to the Premier League season with a come-from-behind victory against West Ham, thanks to second-half goals from Jeremy Doku, Bernardo Silva, and Erling Haaland.

West Ham took an unexpected lead through James Ward-Prowse's diving header, but City quickly responded. Doku, scoring his first goal for City, equalized just 43 seconds into the second half.

Bernardo Silva put City in front after calmly converting Julian Alvarez's lofted pass over West Ham's defense.

Erling Haaland, who had missed several chances earlier in the match, sealed the victory with a characteristic finish.

With this win, Manchester City extended their lead at the top of the Premier League table to two points over Liverpool, who won their early kick-off match against Wolves. Meanwhile, West Ham dropped to sixth place in the standings.
