The Technical Adviser of Nasarawa United FC, Kabiru Dogo, has blamed his side's 0-2 loss to league champions Rangers International FC on his strikers' lack of cutting edge.
Notably, the 2024/2025 NPFL top scorer, Anas Yusuf, was held scoreless as he was contained by Rangers International's defenders.

The Solid Miners failed to convert their chances, ultimately giving an advantage to Rangers International FC.
Dogo, however, lamented his team’s missed opportunities in the defeat to Rangers.
The 2024/2025 NPFL Match Day 10 fixture, held at Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium, "The Cathedral," was filled with excitement as the Solid Miners endured a frustrating 2-0 loss to Rangers International.
United's sturdy defense was breached twice in the second half, condemning them to a consecutive away defeat following their 1-0 loss against Sunshine Stars at Otunba Dipo Dina International Stadium, Ijebu-Ode, Ogun State, two weeks prior.
Dogo said, "We managed to keep the scoreline even in the first half and dominated much of the second half.
"We just failed to convert our chances. We couldn't maintain our intensity, and individual errors cost us the game as Rangers capitalized on their opportunities.
"We’ll work on our consistency and aim to bounce back in our next match."
The defeat dropped United to 14th place with twelve points. They next host 16th-placed Kwara United in a North-Central derby on Sunday, November 10, 2024, at Lafia City Stadium at 4 pm.
