The Black Galaxies of Ghana will hold their first training session later today, December 27, 2024, at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State. This session is in preparation for their second-leg African Nations Championship (CHAN) 2024 qualifier against Nigeria’s Super Eagles B tomorrow, December 28, 2024.
The traveling contingent consists of 26 players, members of the technical crew, and representatives from the Ghana Football Association (GFA).
According to information shared on the Nigeria Football Federation's X account, the Galaxies will fly into Port Harcourt aboard a chartered aircraft. They will then travel by road to Uyo after completing immigration formalities in Port Harcourt, Rivers State.
The first leg between Nigeria and Ghana in Accra ended in a goalless draw, and tomorrow's decider in Uyo will kick off at 5:00 PM. The winners on aggregate will proceed to the delayed CHAN 2024, which will be held in Kenya, Uganda, and Tanzania from February 1–28, 2025.
