Vinicius Junior to take No.7 shirt at Real Madrid

After Eden Hazard left and was become a free agent, the legendary jersey became available. For Real since the 2019–20 season, Hazard wore the No. 7 jersey.
 
Vinicius has seen a stratospheric ascent, while Hazard suffered when he was at Real Madrid. The Brazilian international, who moved to Real from Flamengo in 2018, has made a name for himself as one of the game's most exciting young players.
 
He has just been 22 years old, but he has already made 225 appearances and 59 goals for the Blancos. His accomplishments include winning the Champions League and two La Liga championships.
 
As Vinicius takes over the No.7 shirt, he will be relinquishing his current No.20, which is expected to be given to Fran Garcia upon his return to the Bernabeu from Rayo Vallecano.
 
 Additionally, fellow Brazilian Rodrygo will be upgrading his number from 21 to 11.
