Rookie of the Month: Victor Boniface competes with RB Leipzig and Hoffenheim stars for the best young player award

Bayer Leverkusen's striker, Victor Boniface, has been nominated for the Bundesliga Rookie of the Month Award for his outstanding performance in September. 

After clinching the prestigious honor in August with a remarkable debut month in the German top flight, the Nigerian forward has continued to impress. 

In September, the 22-year-old scored an additional four goals and contributed an assist, reaffirming his strong contention for the Rookie of the Month award. 

His stellar performances included a brace and an assist against Darmstadt on September 2 and another brace in Bayer Leverkusen's dominant 4-1 victory over FC Heidenheim on September 24. 

While he remains a top contender for the award, Boniface faces fierce competition from RB Leipzig’s promising talent, Xavi Simmons, and TSG Hoffenheim's ace, Maximilian Beier.
