Victor Boniface competes with Chelsea, Man Utd, Barcelona, Real Madrid for Emerging POTY

Bayer Leverkusen forward Victor Boniface is among the nominees for the Power Horse Emerging Player of the Year at the 2023 Globe Soccer Awards, competing against talented individuals like Chelsea's Moisés Caicedo, Enzo Fernandez, and Cesare Casadei, as well as Manchester United's Rasmus Højlund.
Around 25 percent of the contenders hail from Spanish La Liga, featuring Real Madrid's Eduardo Camavinga, Arda Güler, Jude Bellingham, and Barcelona's Alejandro Balde, Pedri, Lamine Yamal, and Gavi, all vying for the prestigious award.
Other notable nominees include Bayern Munich's Jamal Musiala, Brighton & Hove's Evan Ferguson, Manchester City's Joško Gvardiol and Jeremy Doku, and PSG's loanee Xavi Simons.
Boniface has stood out globally since the beginning of 2023, amassing 21 goals and fourteen assists in 45 matches for Royale Union Saint-Gilloise and Bayer Leverkusen. The 22-year-old received recognition with three Bundesliga Rookie of the Month Awards and was named Bundesliga Player of the Month for August.
In addition to his club success, Boniface made his debut for the Super Eagles in a 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against São Tomé and Príncipe in September, earning four more caps since then.
