Victor Boniface, the Nigerian striker playing for Bayer Leverkusen and the Super Eagles, is gaining recognition as one of the best young dribblers in Europe. In the current season, the 22-year-old has been a standout performer in the Bundesliga, earning the Rookie of the Month award for the first two months of the campaign. He has contributed significantly to his team's success with nine goals and four assists across all competitions, including seven goals in the Bundesliga.

In the Bundesliga, only five players, none younger than 22, have scored more goals than Boniface. This season marks his debut campaign in one of Europe's major leagues. A recent report from the CIES Football Observatory highlights Boniface's dribbling abilities, placing him as the 14th best U-23 dribbler in Europe's top five leagues. He averages 4.5 dribbles per game with a 58% dribbling accuracy. Among players with a similar dribbling accuracy, only a few, including Arsenal's Gabriel Martinelli and Real Sociedad's Takefusa Kubo, make more dribbles per game than Boniface.

Bayer Leverkusen's coach, Xabi Alonso, recognizes Boniface's versatility, describing him as a "complete" forward who not only excels in goal-scoring but also contributes to the team's overall performance. Leverkusen's success as an attacking force bodes well for Boniface's growth as a player.

Currently, Boniface boasts a high rating of 8.09 (Whoscored) and ranks as the third-best player in the Bundesliga. His average of 5.9 shots per game is the highest in the division, highlighting his offensive prowess. Furthermore, he has won the Player of the Match award twice, trailing only a few players in this regard. Boniface's consistency and drive to improve suggest that his best is yet to come.
