Valuejet Cup 23: Shooting Stars are Champions

Shooting Stars Sports Club of Ibadan have emerged champions of the 2023 edition of the ValueJet Cup Pre-season Tourney. 

The Oluyole Warriors spanked a youthful academy-side, Beyond Limits Football Academy 2-0 in the grand finale decided at the Remo Stars Stadium, Ikenne.

It was Malomo Taofeek who scored 3SC's first goal in the 16th minute when he headed home a cross from Gali Falke.
 
After the brilliant sublime assist for the first goal, Falke in the 20th minute registered his name in the scorer's sheet for the Oluyole Warriors' second goal that gave the club victory. 

The brilliance of Beyond Limits FA goalkeeper, Dele Aiyenugba's son, Daniel, was not enough to save his team.

Shooting Stars SC grabbed the winner's gold trophy and N2million cash price, while second placed Beyond Limits FA got N1.5million for their efforts.
