2023/2024 NPFL Match Day 4: Lobi Stars mgt throws Lafia City Stadium gates open as Abia Warriors visit

In their bid to continue their fine start to the 2023/24 Nigeria Premier Football League season, the management of Lobi Stars FC of Makurdi has opened the gates of their makeshift home venue, Lafia City Stadium, to their fans as they take on visiting Abia Warriors FC of Umuahia in the NPFL Match-Day 4 tie.
The match is scheduled for Saturday, 21st October 2023, at 4 pm.
Lobi's first match at their new-found home ground was a well-deserved 3-2 victory over visiting Sunshine Stars FC of Akure in the Match Day 1 encounter.
The Lobi versus Sunshine Stars' match was attended by the Speaker of the Benue State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Hyacinth Aondona Dajo; the Commissioner for Youth, Sports, and Creativity, Rt. Hon. Terkimbi Ikyange; the Permanent Secretary of the Nasarawa State Ministry of Youth and Sports Development, Chief Barr. Isaac Danladi; the House of Assembly Member representing Makurdi North Constituency, Hon. Alfred Berger; former Nigerian International and Super Eagles' Coach, Augustine Eguavon; Chairman of Nasarawa United FC, Prof. Othman Ibrahim Ahmed; Team Manager of Nasarawa United FC, Solomon Babanjah; Secretary of the Benue State FA, Mr. Iorgulum Malu, among others.
The "YES FATHER" Boys are eager to secure their second victory this season against the resilient Abia Warriors FC, following draws against Heartland FC and Katsina United FC in previous weeks.
