UCL Roundup: Olayinka absent, Yusuf shines as PSG, Porto, Leipzig dim Super Eagles stars' joy

The UEFA Champions League results on Wednesday brought mixed fortunes for Nigerian players. Alhassan Yusuf scored for Royal Antwerp, but they lost 4-1 to Porto in Group H.
Super Eagles winger Chidera Ejuke and young forward George Ilenikhena came on as substitutes in the 77th minute.
Yusuf broke the deadlock, giving Antwerp the lead at halftime, marking his first-ever UEFA Champions League goal and first goal for the Belgian club this season. However, Porto surged ahead in the second half, securing victory with Evanilson's hat-trick and Stephen Eustaquio's goal.
Antwerp now sits at the bottom of the group with no points, while Porto holds the second spot with six points.
In Group F, AC Milan, missing Chukwueze due to injury, suffered a 3-0 defeat against Paris Saint-Germain. Goals from Kylian Mbappe, Kolo Muani, and Lee Yong secured the convincing win for PSG.
Milan struggles in the UEFA Champions League, currently at the bottom of the group with just two points. PSG leads the group with six points.
In Group G, Peter Olayinka and FK Crvena Zvezda fell to a 3-1 defeat against RB Leipzig. Olayinka was substituted at halftime, and Leipzig emerged victorious with goals from Simons, Olmo, and Stamenic's consolation strike.
Lukas Okechukwu Nmecha scored the only goal in Borussia Dortmund's hard-fought 1-0 away win against Newcastle United.
Other results on Wednesday included Manchester City's 3-1 away win against Young Boys, Barcelona's narrow 2-1 victory over Shakhtar Donetsk, and Red Star Belgrade's 3-1 loss to Leipzig in Germany.
Celtic and Atletico Madrid played to a 2-2 draw, while Feyenoord defeated Lazio 3-1.
