Carney Chukwuemeka and Noni Madueke, both of Nigerian descent and England youth internationals, have been nominated for Chelsea's Goal of the Month award for March 2024.
Chelsea's official website is asking fans to choose from eight remarkable goals scored across the first team, Women's team, and academy squads to determine the Goal of the Month winner for March.
In the previous month, Chelsea played four matches, scoring a total of eleven goals, and four of these goals have been selected for the March award nominations.
Chukwuemeka and Madueke made significant contributions off the bench in Chelsea's 4-2 victory over Leicester City in the quarterfinals of the Emirates FA Cup, with their late efforts earning them nominations for the Goal of the Month award.
Chukwuemeka's goal came in the 92nd minute when he scored from close range after a passing exchange with Cole Palmer, while Madueke's stunning strike in the seventh minute of stoppage time sealed the win with a shot from outside the box.
The duo will compete with six other players - Erin Cuthbert, Mykhailo Mudryk, Mayra Ramirez, Dylan Williams, Dujuan Richards, and Cole Palmer - for the prestigious Goal of the Month award.
Chukwuemeka previously won Chelsea's Goal of the Month for August 2023 for his first professional goal in a match against West Ham United, showcasing his knack for scoring memorable goals.
