The Turkey Football Federation (TFF) has completed its investigation into the confrontation between Bright Osayi-Samuel and a fan during the Fenerbahce vs Trabzonspor match, deciding not to take any disciplinary action against the Nigerian defender.
Osayi-Samuel received commendation for his courage in standing up for his teammates when a fan approached them at the Papara Park stadium after the final whistle before the international break with the Super Eagles of Nigeria.
Initially facing a disciplinary hearing convened by the TFF after his international commitments with the Super Eagles, Osayi-Samuel has now been cleared of any wrongdoing in the incident.
Following the TFF's decision, it has been reported by A Spor that Trabzonspor, where Paul Onuachu currently plays, will face penalties, including six home matches without spectators and a hefty fine of 3 million 112 thousand TL.
Additionally, other individuals involved in the incident, such as Jayden Oosterwolde, İrfan Can Eğribayat, Egemen Korkmaz, Kürşat Çiftlik, and Okan Özkan, have been handed various bans and fines by the TFF.
With the issue resolved, Fenerbahce can now concentrate on their upcoming matches, including a crucial encounter against Galatasaray, as Osayi-Samuel aims to continue contributing to his team's success on the field.
