Chelsea has reportedly decided against allowing winger Noni Madueke to go out on loan from Stamford Bridge in the upcoming January transfer window, as stated by The Athletic. Despite the 21-year-old's limited playing time this season, having started only twice, Chelsea has ruled out loan moves for established first-team players. The club prefers such loan arrangements for younger players who are in need of senior experience.
According to reports, one player who might meet the loan criteria is Andrey Santos, a 19-year-old likely to be recalled from Nottingham Forest and then sent out on loan again after making just two appearances for Forest.
The Blues have already reached the maximum limit for players on international loans, which could complicate any potential domestic loan for Madueke. This constraint may further discourage Chelsea from facilitating a temporary departure for the winger.
Chelsea could experience a busy January transfer window with potential incomings, given their challenging season so far under Mauricio Pochettino. Currently sitting in 10th place in the Premier League table, the Blues might seek reinforcements to strengthen their squad.
