Transfer expert confirms Osimhen won't renew contract with Napoli

Football transfer expert Fabrizio Romano has given an update on Victor Osimhen's status at Napoli, suggesting that the Super Eagles' standout is unlikely to extend his contract amid interest from Chelsea and Arsenal. 

 

Recent issues, including the Napoli-TikTok saga and prolonged contract negotiations, raise concerns about Osimhen's potential departure. 

 

His current deal with Napoli expires in June 2025, and there's a risk of losing him in January or the following summer. 

 

Romano confirmed that there's no agreement for a new contract, stating, "Osimhen won’t be renewing there." 

 

Osimhen recently returned to Napoli's squad after recovering from an injury sustained while playing for Nigeria.
