Ange Postecoglou, the manager of Celtic, has decided to accept a two-year deal to lead Tottenham.
The 57-year-old Australian just completed Celtic's domestic triple and their second Scottish championship under his leadership.
Since Antonio Conte's departure in March, Cristian Stellini and then Ryan Mason have served as interim managers at Tottenham.
Before making an announcement, the last few details of the agreement are being worked out.
Postecoglou’s only European experience before joining Celtic in 2021 came in 2008 when he coached Greek lower-league side Panachaiki.
He won Australian titles with South Melbourne and the Brisbane Roar and won the Japanese top league with Yokohama F. Marinos before also coaching Australia to victory in the 2015 Asian Cup
Postecoglou takes charge of Tottenham, who finished eighth in the Premier League, heading into their first season without European football since 2009/10.
