Tottenham Hotspur have secured the signing of South Korean winger Yang Min-Hyeok from K League 1 side Gangwon FC on a six-year contract, with the 18-year-old set to join the Premier League club in January, according to an announcement made on Sunday.
Yang, who has represented South Korea at the Under-17 level, demonstrated his potential by scoring eight goals and providing four assists in 25 appearances for Gangwon.
The financial terms of the deal have not been disclosed by Spurs. Yang's arrival marks Tottenham's second major acquisition of the close season, following their earlier signing of highly-rated 18-year-old Archie Gray from Leeds United.
Yang will join his fellow countryman Son Heung-min, who serves as both captain of Spurs and the South Korean national team.
Tottenham Hotspur will kick off their Premier League season against promoted Leicester City on August 19.
