Tottenham Hotspur set to solidify interest in Fulham's Nigerian central

Tottenham Hotspur is prepared to escalate their interest in securing the signature of Nigerian central defender Tosin Adarabioyo, as they are reportedly ready to submit an official bid to Fulham. 

The North London club is determined to bolster their defensive lineup, especially after conceding 63 goals last season, making them one of the weakest defensive sides in the Premier League. 

With the start of the new season less than two weeks away, Tottenham is running out of time to address their defensive woes and is now prioritizing the signing of Adarabioyo, along with other potential targets like Micky van de Ven and Burkina Faso international Edmond Tapsoba.

As Adarabioyo's contract with Fulham is nearing its end, he is expected to depart from Craven Cottage this summer, making him a favorable target for Tottenham. 

However, the club faces competition from Monaco, as reports suggest that the French club has already agreed to personal terms with the 25-year-old defender. 

Therefore, Tottenham must act swiftly if they intend to secure Adarabioyo's signature before the start of the Premier League season, especially with their opening game against Brentford looming ahead. 

The Manchester City academy product possesses the defensive prowess that Spurs are seeking, and they are now determined to finalize the deal and solidify their backline before the new campaign kicks off.
