Tottenham Hotspur's coach Ange Postecoglou has provided reassuring news concerning the injury sustained by Super Eagles-eligible defender Destiny Udogie during their recent Premier League encounter against Bournemouth at the Vitality Stadium.
Udogie had to leave the pitch with a few minutes of regular time remaining, prompting concerns about the severity of the injury, especially as he went down under minimal pressure and required medical attention.
However, Postecoglou has clarified that the Italian-Nigerian left-back didn't incur any major damage and was substituted as a precaution after accidentally kicking the ground.
Despite Udogie's willingness to continue playing, the substitution was made to adhere to current rules.
Postecoglou has expressed optimism that Udogie will be available for their upcoming game against Burnley, maintaining his positive influence on the team, which was evident in his recent contribution of an assist for Dejan Kulusevski's goal against Bournemouth.
