The Ikon Allah Boys will battle for supremacy and bragging rights against visitors Doma United in a Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) Match Day 31 tie scheduled to take place at the Ahmadu Bello Stadium in Kaduna on Sunday.
Niger Tornadoes have scored eight goals and conceded just one in their last three home matches (Sporting Lagos, Shooting Stars, Gombe United).
Acting Head Coach Majin Mohammed said consolidating the recent good run of results at home is important, especially at this crucial stage of the season.
"Every point gained is valuable and important at this point, because there are just a few games left until the end of the season and every team has its priorities. Ours is to stabilize in the NPFL.
"That is why the remaining matches are significant, especially the home games, because teams will be trying by any means possible to defend their home."
The Ikon Allah Boys suffered a slim one-nil defeat in the reverse fixture at the Pantami Stadium, and Majin Mohammed's wards are determined to retaliate.
"They won at their home because it was important to them. Now is the time for us to also win at our home because it's equally important to us."
This is the fourth time the two teams will be meeting since Doma United gained promotion to the NPFL.
