Top 50 dribblers Serie A: Lookman 22nd, Chukwueze 40th, Paz 1st

Posted : 20 March 2025

Super Eagles wingers Ademola Lookman and Samuel Chukwueze have earned spots among the top 50 dribblers in Serie A this season. Their ranking highlights their ability to take on defenders and create attacking opportunities for their respective clubs.

According to data from Euro Football Rumours, Lookman, who plays for Atalanta, is ranked 22nd after completing 27 successful dribbles. Meanwhile, AC Milan’s Chukwueze sits in 40th place with 20 completed take-ons. Como’s Nico Paz tops the list with an impressive 57 dribbles.

Lookman has been a key figure for Atalanta this season, using his pace and technical ability to trouble opposing defenses. His dribbling skills have made him one of the most effective wingers in Serie A, contributing significantly to his team's attacking play.

Since joining Atalanta, the former Leicester City player has adapted well to Gian Piero Gasperini’s system. His ability to beat defenders and create space has been crucial in the club’s push for a strong finish in the league standings.

Chukwueze, on the other hand, has faced challenges at AC Milan. Limited playing time under Stefano Pioli has affected his consistency, but when given the opportunity, he has demonstrated his dribbling ability. His ranking among Serie A’s top dribblers despite reduced minutes reflects his natural talent.

Both wingers are currently in Kigali with the Super Eagles as Nigeria prepares for a crucial 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifier against Rwanda. Their presence in the squad provides an added attacking dimension, as they look to help the national team secure an important victory.

With Nigeria aiming for maximum points, Lookman and Chukwueze’s dribbling skills could play a key role in unlocking Rwanda’s defense. Fans will be eager to see them translate their club performances into the international stage and boost the Super Eagles’ World Cup qualification hopes.
