Team Lagos has today sustained its return to winning ways with a comfortable 2-0 win over the star-studded Team Unijos.
One goal in both halves of the game gave a more resolute Team UNILAG the much-needed victory.
Team UNILAG scored the first goal via a lovely finish from Doyin Omotosho in the early 3rd minute of the first half.
The host, Team UNILAG, however, waited until the 74th minute of the second half before a trick from Samuel Olopade delivered the second goal to secure the game against Team Unijos.
In his assessment, Parlong stated that his team was technically better.
"We were the better team today; only Team Lagos was able to score against us.
"We can boast of one of the best squads in this competition, and we are the youngest. The boys were assembled about two months ago.
"Most of the players are in their second year, so they have a bright future ahead of them," he said.
Team UNILAG defender Chukwudi Odili said that the team would continue to grow in confidence.
"We are now getting relaxed because we are gaining more confidence.
"Our target remains unchanged: Team UNILAG for gold," he said.
