It will be a battle royale in Port Harcourt as first-placed Remo Stars FC storms Adokiye Aniesimaka Stadium to face second-placed Rivers United FC.
The Pride of Rivers' coach, Finidi George, will have a lot to contend with as Remo Stars, known for their spring of away surprises, are not a team to be taken lightly.
This is arguably the biggest game of the weekend, as league leaders Remo Stars visit title contenders Rivers United.
The Sky Blue Stars sit eight points clear and have a game in hand, while the Pride of Rivers must win to keep their title hopes alive.
Rivers boss Finidi George insists his side can't afford to drop more points. On the other side, Remo's Daniel Ogunmodede wants his team to get a result that could all but seal the title, barring any late collapse.
Remo Stars' Technical Adviser, Daniel Ogunmodede, says his team will go all out for maximum points in the Matchday 32 fixture against Rivers United.
Ogunmodede believes that the Matchday 31 victory over Enyimba will serve as a big motivation for the team.
“Every game, we will give our maximum effort; every game is important to us, no matter the position of the opposition,” Ogunmodede told Remo Stars media.
“The next game against Rivers United won’t be any different. We will see how we can try to get the maximum points from the game.”
