Super Eagles striker draws interest from three clubs

Nigerian striker Paul Onuachu, currently with Southampton, is generating transfer interest from several clubs including Union Berlin in the German Bundesliga, Galatasaray in the Turkish Super Lig, and Al Taawoun in Saudi Arabia, with transfer market journalist Sacha Tavolieri suggesting that it would be wise for Onuachu to leave Southampton before the closure of the summer transfer window.
Union Berlin, in particular, struggled to find goals in the Bundesliga, Galatasaray needs a replacement for Mauro Icardi, who has returned to PSG, while Al Taawoun seeks to strengthen their attacking options for the upcoming season, thus making them keen on acquiring Onuachu's services.
Although Onuachu made a move to Southampton during the January transfer window, he faced difficulties in terms of form and playing time as the team was relegated from the Premier League.
In his 11 Premier League appearances, he failed to find the back of the net, which contrasts significantly with his impressive performance at Racing Genk, where he scored 16 goals in 19 games during the first half of the season in the Jupiler Pro League.
The decision regarding whether Southampton will sell Onuachu remains uncertain as the club has yet to announce a new coach who will ultimately determine the player's future.
