Super Eagles-eligible left-back, Destiny Udogie, made an immediate impact on Tottenham's new manager Ange Postecoglou during his debut as he scored a goal in Spurs' 3-2 defeat against West Ham United in a pre-season match at the Optus Stadium.
Despite being down by two goals in the first half, Tottenham mounted a comeback with Giovani Lo Celso and Udogie finding the back of the net in the 68th and 71st minute, respectively.
Unfortunately, a late goal from Gianluca Scamacca secured the win for West Ham. Udogie, who joined the game as a second-half substitute, aims to capitalize on his impressive spell with Udinese in the Italian Serie A last season and hopes to secure a place in Tottenham's starting XI for the upcoming season.
Tottenham is set to face Leicester City, Lion City, Shakhtar Donetsk, and Barcelona in their subsequent pre-season games.
