Super Eagles defender secures permanent deal in Portugal Liga's top ten

Super Eagles defender Bruno Onyemaechi has completed a permanent transfer to Boavista, a Portugal Liga club.
The Owerri-born player had initially joined Boavista on a season-long loan from Feirense and made a significant impact during his time there, featuring in 33 matches across various competitions.
Boavista, impressed by his performances, decided to secure his services permanently by paying Feirense €1 million for the transfer.
Onyemaechi's versatility allows him to play as a center-back, left-back, or central midfielder.
Interestingly, he joins fellow Nigerian Chidozie Awaziem at Boavista, although the two have not yet played together for both the club and the national team.
However, the possibility of them featuring together under coach Petit exists, although it may depend on Awaziem's future as he has had multiple club stints in recent years.
