The Alia Boys were held to a 2-2 draw by Kano Pillars at the Lafia City Stadium.
Having taken a 2-0 lead, the Alia Boys lost their grip, allowing Sai Masu Gida to rally and secure a deserved share of the spoils.
Amokachi noted that his team threw away valuable points in the game.
“The result is disappointing; we were two goals up, and we failed to hold on, which would have made the difference. But we threw them away; it’s sad,” Amokachi said.
Lobi Stars will travel to Enugu to play Rangers International FC in their next league game.
