Solanke then showcased his scoring skill by chipping in a clever finish in the 75th minute to put Tottenham ahead and shortly after, added another from a Richarlison cross to extend their lead.
James Maddison capped off the impressive performance with a powerful free-kick in stoppage time, securing the win and marking his 50th Premier League goal.
This victory elevates Spurs to seventh in the standings with 16 points, now just two points behind Villa, who missed an opportunity to climb into third place.
Villa’s players had shown solidarity with Spain’s recent flood victims before kickoff, wearing warm-up shirts with the message “Fuerza Valencia.”
Despite creating some first-half chances, including a shot from Rodrigo Bentancur and a close header by Amadou Onana, Spurs struggled to break through Villa’s defense until their spirited second-half rally.
