Sporting Lagos FC signs Academy player, Chisom Orji

In other to  build a formidable attacking line, the newly promoted to Nigeria Premier League (NPL) side, Sporting Lagos FC on Wednesday announced the signing of an academy player, Chisom Orji.

The permanent acquisition of the versatile forward will contribute to the readiness of the newly promoted Sporting Lagos FC for the upcoming 2023/2024 season.

The Sporting Lagos FC team secured their premier league status with a third place finish at the Super Six of the Nigeria National League (NNL).

Chisom Orji, previously on loan to Sporting Lagos FC is one of the influencial players responsible for the good run in the club last season and now rewarded with a permanent deal.

Orji played for Sporting Lagos on loan from the Collin Edwin Sports Academy and his performance earned him the Fans Player of the Season award.

The management decided to secure him permanently for the club ahead of the new season.
