Source: Amid a massive Saudi proposal, Karim Benzema mulls a future at Real Madrid

After getting a rich offer to relocate to Saudi Arabia, Karim Benzema is reportedly considering leaving Real Madrid, according to a source.
 
According to the source, Benzema, 35, was presented with a two-year agreement for €400 million in January. Cristiano Ronaldo, who joined Al Nassr after leaving Manchester United, also accepted a similar offer.
 
The winner of the Ballon d'Or in 2022 is said to have reached an agreement with Madrid earlier this month to extend his contract by one more year. However, since then, things have changed, and the forward is now thinking about the Saudi offer.
 
Madrid had a terrible 2022–23 season as it was unable to challenge Barcelona for the LaLiga crown and was eliminated from the Champions League following a crushing loss to Manchester City in the quarterfinals.
 
Benzema has experienced severe fitness problems this year and was unable to compete in the 2022 World Cup, where France placed second.
