'Something that I've never experienced' - Sulaiman

Sulaiman, who had previously led the Chelsea U16 team, stepped up to assume leadership of the team in March. 

Since joining the Chelsea Academy in 2008, he has progressed through the coaching levels and filled a variety of responsibilities with various age groups. 

The Chelsea U18s have won their previous three U18 Premier League games, scoring twelve goals while allowing just three, and are currently in good form. 

He discussed his adjustment to his new position as Chelsea U18s head coach on the club's official website, saying: "Taking over a team during the middle of a season is something that I have never experienced but over this short period, I have learnt that it is important to familiarise yourself with the working process as quickly as possible.

"I have really enjoyed my time so far in the position of head coach. The youth team staff have been extremely supportive.

"The coaches had already been doing some great work, so it was just a case of adding to the work that they were already doing."
