Sokoto United FC announces resumption of training, sets sight on 2024/2025 NNL season

The management of Sokoto United Football Club announced on Thursday that the team will resume training activities on October 14, 2024.


The management stated that this is part of the preparations for the upcoming 2024/2025 Nigeria National League (NNL) season.


Following the release of the NNL fixtures, Sokoto United FC has been placed in Group D alongside:


- Adamawa United FC
- Wikki Tourist FC
- Barau FC
- Mighty Jet FC
- Mailantarki Care FC
- Gombe United FC
- Ijele FC
- Zamfara United FC


The team's technical crew, led by Head Coach Peter Ajeni, has outlined a comprehensive training program designed to enhance player fitness, tactics, and teamwork, while also identifying and integrating new talent.


"We are excited to get back to work and build on the progress made in previous seasons," said the Team Manager.


"Our goal is to ensure Sokoto United FC is competitive and successful in the NNL, and we are committed to providing the necessary resources and support."


Head Coach Peter Ajeni added, "We are aware of the challenges posed by our group opponents, but we are confident in our team's ability to compete and secure a strong position in the league."


Sokoto United FC invites fans, sponsors, and stakeholders to support the team throughout the 2024/2025 NNL season.
